Frequently Asked Questions

What is B & U Day?
Transfer Pre-Registration is a time for students to meet with a faculty advisor to schedule their classes for the fall semester and to complete necessary business items before school begins.

When will it be?
The date is set for July 16. Events will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the lobby of Barber Auditorium.

Who should attend?
All transfers, who have been accepted for admission to the college, are encouraged to attend. Parents and siblings are welcomed; however, there will be no programs provided for them.

Will lunch be provided?
Yes, lunch will be available in the dining commons.

How do I register? Online registration for B & U Day is now closed. If you would like to register for Transfer B & U Day, please call Dana in the admission office at 800-960-5940. Thank you.

Do I need to pay anything before I come?
If you have not paid your enrollment deposit of $100, you must pay that amount before July 13. You can pay online with credit card (link available after you submit registration form), call to pay by credit card, or mail check or money order.

Can I spend the night on campus?
Belhaven will not be providing rooms on campus to parents and students. However, there are several hotels in the area. Here are some suggestions that are near campus:

Schedule of Events

The Security Office (St. Center – bottom floor) will be open from 10:30-12:00 a.m. and 1:00-2:30 p.m. for you to make your photo for your student i.d.

The Student Financial Planning Office will be open until 5 pm.

The Bookstore will be open from 9am – 2 pm.
