Welcome to Career & Academic Development at Belhaven College

Hi, and welcome to the Office of Career & Academic Development at Belhaven College! Sometimes adjusting to college can be a struggle, both academically, and in knowing just where you will find your fit to achieve your life goals. We are here to serve our students in two main ways…

• To provide assistance with identification of personal values, career interests, personality make-up, and skills and abilities to help begin the process of identifying God-given talents with the goal of integrating academic preparation and career direction, and,
• To facilitate the development and success of students needing assistance or guidance in their adjustment to the academic program of Belhaven College

Students can come by the Office of Career & Academic Development to inquire about these services in The Cube, Room 101. Our office is here to help students learn about themselves, and tap into the unique gifts and abilities with which God has blessed each one of us. Mission Statement

The mission of the Belhaven College Office of Career & Academic Development is to assist students in determining their God-given strengths and abilities, to effectively prepare students as they pursue their calling in service to Christ, and to encourage students to improve their academic performance through accountability, assistance, and motivation.  Embracing a Christian worldview, the Office of Career & Academic Development aims to provide an effective development program to prepare men and women for service.
