For more than a century the core mission of Belhaven College has been to prepare young men and women to faithfully serve Christ in their careers, their relationships, and their communities. Belhaven has developed into one of the nation’s best buys for college education, and our commitment to excellence in Christian higher education remains steadfast.
However, today’s cost of education can be beyond some family’s financial limits. In order to continue providing our very best to these promising students we need the help and support of our Belhaven alumni and friends.
Giving to Belhaven College can be accomplished through a variety of ways, each vitally important to the future of the College and the students who attend. The fact of the matter is, without the financial generosity of our alumni and friends, many young men and women could not attend, our facilities would become degenerative, and we could no longer attract the kind of faculty we need. We take to heart the stewardship responsibility we have with each gift made to Belhaven. Each gift is significant, regardless of size, and we believe the Lord will bless the gift and the giver as we exercise proper stewardship.

Annual Scholarship Fund
The
Annual Scholarship Fund provides the financial resources that help to fund the
difference between the College's true cost of educating a student, and what a
student actually pays in tuition. The Annual Scholarship Fund helps Belhaven
attract the kind of student who can best benefit from a Belhaven education, but
who may not have the personal funds to cover all of his or her tuition costs.
Designated and Endowed Scholarships
In addition to the Annual Fund for
Student Scholarships, there are two other options for funding scholarships
for Belhaven students. These are Designated and
Endowed Scholarships.
The Belhaven College Foundation
The Belhaven College Foundation is a non-profit
corporation formed in 1997 to promote, manage, support, maintain, foster, and
perpetuate Christian education by providing assistance to Belhaven College. The
Foundation purposes to raise endowment funds for Belhaven College by offering
Planned Giving and Estate Planning services to the alumni and friends of Belhaven
who embrace the mission of Belhaven College.
Capital Gifts
One important area of
giving that truly lasts for generations is capital giving. Capital gifts are
made to finance the expansion and/or improvement of the physical campus at
Belhaven. In recent years, several new buildings and enhancements to existing
buildings have helped to create a campus that is both attractive and
technologically ready for the 21st century.
