Student and Alumni Spotlights for the Biology Program

I chose to come to Belhaven… because of the science department. I really liked the professors I met while visiting and how close they were to their students. I also knew several people who had already gone to Belhaven and who highly recommended the school.

The relationship at Belhaven that has meant the most to me is… My best friend Cat. We've been friends since freshman year. We have both helped each other through difficult times and I know that we're always going to be friends and be there for one another.

Because of my degree from Belhaven University… I can pursue higher levels of education at multiple graduate schools. I will also have opportunities for research due to people I have met through Dr. Chestnut, chair of the Biology department.
