Accreditation
Belhaven College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, baccalaureate, and masters degrees. The Department of Music is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music. The Department of Art is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. The Department of Dance is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Dance. The Department of Theatre is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Theatre. Belhaven College through its School of Business Administration has the following degree programs accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education: Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Management, Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Science in Management.

Texas – Belhaven College is approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to offer the following degrees in Houston, Texas: Associate of Arts with major in General Studies, Bachelor of Business Administration with major in General Business, and Master of Business Administration with major in General Business.
Belhaven College is a member of the American Council on Education, the Mississippi Association of Independent Colleges, and the Association of Presbyterian Colleges. It is approved by the American Association of University Women, the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, and the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
