Student and Alumni Spotlights for the English Program

I chose to come to Belhaven University because…Belhaven was nearby and offered an excellent education at an affordable price.

One relationship that has meant a lot to me while attending Belhaven University…I have to name two: Joel Andrus, my roommate for 3 1/2 years here—I'll  be the best man at his wedding in May. The other is Dr. Randy Smith, an amazing teacher and even better person. I am so grateful he brought me into the English/Creative Writing fold.  

Because of my degree from Belhaven University… I'm looking at some teaching positions, and I plan to come back to Belhaven and get my Master of Arts in Teaching.

One word to describe your experience at Belhaven: Growth.
