Student and Alumni Spotlights for the Mathematics Program

I chose to come to Belhaven because... it was the only college I visited that listed glorifying Jesus Christ as their first priority. Also, I liked that it was a smaller school and that it was close to home.

One relationship that meant a lot to me while attending Belhaven University...During my years at Belhaven, I enjoyed good relationships with many of my professors. Specifically, Mrs. Smith and Dr. Miller of the Math Department were great mentors and sources of encouragement, both as I pursued my degree at Belhaven and as I have continued on in graduate school.

Because of my degree from Belhaven University...I was accepted into the graduate program at Mississippi State University as a graduate teaching assistant in the Math Department. I will graduate with my Master's Degree in May and will continue on as a graduate teaching assistant pursuing my Ph. D. in Mathematical Sciences.
