Student and Alumni Spotlights for the Mathematics Program

I chose to come to Belhaven because…It is close to home and a personal, close-knit  liberal arts environment. I knew that my professors would be more available than at a large school, which is where I will ultimately finish my engineering degree. The personal attention has given me the head start I need.

One relationship that has meant a lot to me while attending Belhaven University…There are just too many to name. The friendships that I have formed with other students, many of whom are very different than me, are particularly special to me. I also appreciate the personal care that the professors have for their students.

Because of my coursework from Belhaven University…I have received the foundation I need to pursue my ultimate degree goal: engineering.

One word to describe my experience at Belhaven: Maturing.
