Student and Alumni Spotlights for the Social Services Program

I chose to come to Belhaven because… I was offered a football scholarship, and I'm from Jackson—so it was a plus for me to be able to stay home and also receive a great education.

One relationship that has meant a lot to me while attending Belhaven… is with my friend Reggie Lumpkin. Like me, he also came to Belhaven after being out of school for a while. He has been a great friend and motivator for me.

Because of my degree from Belhaven…I am going to be able to further my education. I will also be able to obtain a job that will enable me to go out into society and make a difference in people's lives.

One word to describe my experience at Belhaven: Life-changing.
