Congratulations!  You are one of a select group of students invited to apply for additional scholarship through Honors Day at Belhaven University. Honors Day will be held on January 31 – February 1, 2011 and is a unique day that will highlight Belhaven's programs tailored to students of your caliber.

Schedule of Events (Tentative)

Honors Day Requirements: 

1. You must be accepted for admission to Belhaven University by January 21 (If you have not already applied, you can apply online today!)
2. You must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
3. Test score at or above:  ACT 23 or SAT 1050 (critical reading and math only)
4. Honors Day application and essay should be postmarked by January 21

Essay question:  When you consider Belhaven University, why do you think obtaining a Belhaven degree will help you meet your career calling?

Scholarships available:

Honors Day scholarships are renewable each year for up to 4 years and are in addition to the Belhaven Academic Scholarship.  An Honors Day award cannot be combined with an Arts, Athletic or Leadership Scholarship.  You can receive an additional $500 by applying to Honors Day; OR you can receive an additional $1000 by applying and attending Honors Day. Finally, a limited number of students will be awarded up to $2000 based on their application, attendance and interview.

Please note that a Scholars Day scholarship cannot be combined with leadership, arts, or athletic scholarships.
