Belhaven Alumni Awards

The Alumni Awards Luncheon is held each year in conjunction with Belhaven Homecoming events. This event is a wonderful way to recognize outstanding Belhaven alumni for accomplishments in their careers, churches, and communities.

Awards

Alumnus/Alumna of the Year Award – Presented to an alumnus/alumna who has brought distinction to themselves, and to Belhaven, through outstanding service to the community, state, or nation, as well as accomplishments in their vocation or avocation.

Young Alumnus/Alumna of the Year - Presented to an alumnus/alumna (a graduate of less than 10 years from the current academic year) who has demonstrated outstanding service to Belhaven and leadership in his/her profession, community, or church.

Spirit of Belhaven Award – Presented to an alumnus/alumna who has exemplified the University’s motto, “to serve, not to be served,” throughout his/her service to Belhaven and in their career, church, or community. 

Bettye Quinn Education Award – Presented to an alumnus/alumna who has been a leader in the field of education and demonstrated outstanding service as an educator.

Jim Park Business Award – Presented to an alumnus/alumna who has been a proven business leader and demonstrated outstanding service in the marketplace.
