Fitness Programming

Because physical activity is an essential part of a healthy life, Campus Recreation affords several fitness programming options for students and faculty/staff to connect with each other while pursuing a healthy lifestyle, and at the same time providing a fun-filled environment.

Each program is designed to provide students with a unique structure of exercise activities. Our hope to see student pursue a healthy and active lifestyle is twofold, 1) students would take advantage of these exercise and fitness opportunities to achieve and maintain personal health goals and 2) find the workout in environment to be inclusive, diverse and supporting.

The fitness programming opportunities vary from semester to semester. However, some of the events include, but are not limited to, yoga, Pilates, Zumba, aerobic hip-hop, kickboxing, aerobic line dancing, Insanity, salsa, themed workout events, and more.
