Welcome to Student Development at Belhaven University

Hi, and welcome to the Office of Student Development at Belhaven University! Sometimes adjusting to college can be a struggle, both academically, and in knowing just where you will find your fit to achieve your life goals. We are here to serve our students in two main ways…

• To provide assistance with identification of personal values, career interests, personality make-up, and skills and abilities to help begin the process of identifying God-given talents with the goal of integrating academic preparation and career direction, and,
• To facilitate the development and success of students needing assistance or guidance in their adjustment to the academic program of Belhaven University.

Students can come by the Office of Student Development to inquire about these services in The Cube, Room 204. Our office is here to help students learn about themselves, and tap into the unique gifts and abilities with which God has blessed each one of us. Mission Statement

The mission of the Belhaven University Office of Student Development is to assist students in determining their God-given strengths and abilities, to effectively prepare students as they pursue their calling in service to Christ, and to encourage students to improve their academic performance through accountability, assistance, and motivation.  Embracing a Christian worldview, the Office of Student Development aims to provide an effective development program to prepare men and women for service.
