Student and Alumni Spotlights for the Communication Program

I chose to come to Belhaven because…I transferred to Belhaven University after two years at a large state school in Denver, Colorado. I wanted a smaller school in the South that had a great community. Belhaven fit perfectly!

One relationship that has meant a lot to me while attending Belhaven University…My relationship with some of the on-campus Resident Directors has been so wonderful. The Student Life staff at Belhaven really works hard to make college a positive season of growth and activity. Living in Gillespie Hall has been such an active and enjoyable experience because of My Resident Director.

Because of my degree from Belhaven University...I will be able to have great networking connections with news and print media throughout Mississippi! The chair of the Communication department, Dr. Anthony, knows so many people and is in very high standing in the communication field.

One Word to describe my experience at Belhaven: Active!
