Given to a graduate who has brought distinction to his or herself and to
his/her Alma mater through outstanding service to the community, state, to
nation; or through creativity on their chosen career field.
Church Service Award –
Presented to the alumnus (a) who has given outstanding service to his or
her church.
Community Service Award –
Presented each year to the alumnus (a) who has given outstanding service
to his or her community.
Young Alumnus of the Year -
Instituted at Belhaven College 2002, is awarded to an alumnus who
graduated from Belhaven College less than ten years from the current
academic year. This alumnus (a) shows outstanding service to Belhaven and
Leadership in his/her profession, community, and church.
The Bettye Quinn Award –
Instituted at Belhaven College 2002, is awarded to an alumnus (a) who has
been a leader in the field of education. This person exemplifies
Belhaven’s motto, “ To serve not to be served” in his/her career,
community, and church.
Jim Park Business Award –
Instituted at Belhaven College in 2002, is given to an alumnus (a) who has been a leader in the field
of business. This person exemplifies principles of ethics and
Christianity in his/her career, and shows loyalty and service to
Belhaven
College.
Distinguished Aspire Alumnus Award (Jackson and Memphis) –
Given to an Aspire graduate who has exhibited outstanding leadership and a
record of achievement in the workplace. This individual is also
recognized for his/her deep Christian commitment, support, and service to
his community, church, and to Belhaven
College.
