What is the Annual Scholarship Fund?
The Annual Scholarship Fund provides the financial resources that help to fund the difference between the College's true cost of educating a student, and what a student actually pays in tuition. The Annual Scholarship Fund helps Belhaven attract the kind of student who can best benefit from a Belhaven education, but who may not have the personal funds to cover all of his or her tuition costs.

Why your participation is important?
Alumni participation in the Annual Scholarship Fund is critical. Not only does the fund provide much needed assistance to deserving students, but the higher the participation by our alumni, the greater chances Belhaven has of receiving major grants from regional and national foundations who consider alumni participation an important part of their grant-making criteria.

How you can make a gift?
It is very easy to make a gift to the Annual Scholarship Fund. The easiest way is to simply fill out our Online Giving Form over a secure server.  Upon entering your contribution information, you can make a credit card payment.  Or if you prefer, you can write a check to Belhaven College and designate it for the Annual Scholarship Fund. However, in addition to giving cash, you may also give other assets such as stocks, bonds, personal property, or even real estate. Our mailing address is below:

Leverage your gift through employer matching
You may be able to leverage your gift through matching programs offered by many employers. Your gift could be multiplied by as much as 3 to 1 depending on your employer's plan. Check with your payroll department for details.  A simple call to your payroll department will give you the details.

Special Gift Societies
Special Gift Societies have been created to recognize those who give at specific levels. These include:
