2014 Belhaven University Family Weekend

Belhaven Family

September 18, 2014 (Jackson) - The 2014 Belhaven University Family Weekend will be here soon and current students, parents and siblings are invited to enjoy a weekend full of exciting activities on September 26-27.

The weekend kicks off with Belhaven Discover Day for siblings who are interested in enrolling. The Wynn Kenyon Think Center will have an open house for parents to experience all that the Think Center has to offer their students. A faculty panel will follow the open house, where Belhaven professors will give advice and answer questions.

After a family catfish dinner in the Dining Commons, join us for "Rec the Night.”  Play or watch as participants try their skills at laser tag (Auxiliary Gym), capture the flag (practice football field next to Bitsy Irby), board games (Student Center Dining Commons) and more. The Belhaven Bookstore will be open with Family Weekend specials so you can get a good deal on some Belhaven gear.

Saturday morning will begin with a brunch and a time of Q&A with Belhaven University President, Dr. Roger Parrott. Get ready to cheer on our Blazers football when they face off against Campbellsville University. Join us for a tailgate party at Newell Field, there will be some delicious food, games, face-painting and drawings for free gifts. Before the game, come by the Tailgate Tent at Newell Field to meet our new head football coach Hal Mumme. While you are there, enter the Coin Toss Drawing.  If you win, you and your family will serve as “honorary captains” and toss the coin at the beginning of the game and receive a Blazers “game day” package of merchandise.
