Belhaven’s “Choices” Advertisement Wins Award
June 11, 2012 (Jackson) - The Belhaven University commercial, titled Choices, was created by the Cirlot Agency and won top honors at the 33rd Annual Telly Awards.
The Choices television ad is a great example of what creativity can do when coupled with keen strategic thinking, said Kevin Russell, Vice President for Advancement at Belhaven University.
The Belhaven commercial competed with nearly 11,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries.
The Cirlot Agency took the very complex idea of college choice, and addressed it through both the mind and emotion of a student who is actively grappling with that decision, said Dr. Roger Parrott, president of Belhaven University. I was amazed they could communicate in 30 seconds what takes books to explain in the field of higher education.
