DOXA Fall Dance Concert

November 16, 2011 (Jackson) - The DOXA Fall Concert is a student-produced concert with a purpose.

Abriana Ahern, DOXA President, said, “The Doxa Concert serves as an annual fundraiser and is open to the public. This year we will be raising funds for Abolition International, an organization that works to eradicate human trafficking and bring awareness to this pressing issue to America and around the world.“

DOXA, which means “praise” in Greek, is a student-lead organization from the dance department that plan activities, outreaches, creative worship sessions, prayer ministries, improvisation sessions, and also co-sponsors master classes and workshops.

The concert highlights the choreography and dance styles of Belhaven’s young, up-and-coming talent in the Dance Department.

DOXA Fall Dance Concert is on November 30 and December 1 at 7:30 P.M. in the Bitsy Irby Visual Arts and Dance Center. The doors open at 7:00 P.M.
