March 30, 2009–The Belhaven College and Jackson Community Symphonic Band will perform an eclectic and energetic Jazz Ensemble Concert on April 7, at 7:30 p.m. The full range of instrumental timbres, color, and energy will flow under the baton of Dr. Paxton Girtmon, Associate Professor of Music and Director of Bands at Belhaven. If you are looking for a lively, family-friendly, and free concert–look no further. Complimentary admission. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Belhaven College Center for the Arts, Concert Hall.
