MS Symphony Orchestra Performs Student Compositions
March 1, 2013 (Jackson) - Students from Belhavens Music Composition Emphasis will have their works of music played by professional players from the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra (MSO) on Thursday, April 4 at 5:30 p.m.
This free concert in the Trustmark Grand Hall at the Mississippi Museum of Art will feature student composers from Belhaven University and Mississippi College. Maestro Crafton Beck will direct the MSO players. A brief discussion about the musical compositions and the student composers intentions will be included during this engaging concert of young professional musicians.
