Orchestra and Strings Concert

November 1, 2010: The fall Orchestras and Strings Concert is Saturday, November 13. “Souvenir de Florence” by Tchaikovsky and Night on Bald Mountain by Mussorgsky anchor this evening of beautiful and exciting orchestral music.

“Those attending the Orchestras and Strings Concert should expect a level of excellence rarely attained in undergraduate study,” says Dr. Stephen Sachs, Professor of Piano and Music Department Chair. “So many of the instrumentalists performing on this concert are reaping the rewards of persistent perseverance as they display the skill coming from exhaustive practice.”

The concert begins at 7:30 pm in the Concert Hall of the Center for the Arts. Complimentary admission. Doors open at 7:00 pm.
