I chose to come to Belhaven University because... During the initial college search phases, it was important for me to find a college that would nurture my faith in Christ. I was looking for a small university, a place where the community was strong and the professors knew the students by name. I first heard of Belhaven through the dance department. As I began learning more about what Belhaven was all about I became more interested. After my weekend visit staying with Belhaven students I was hooked; I knew Belhaven was the right college choice for me.

One relationship that has meant a lot to me while attending Belhaven University is...I have been blessed with many wonderful relationships from Belhaven. From professors, resident assistants, and peers the list could just keep going. One relationship that really stands out to me is with my Resident Director. During my sophomore year I was an RA at the women’s dorm Caldwell. Sophomore year was challenging in many ways and my RD poured wisdom and encouragement into my life. I loved serving under her leadership and learning from her Godly example.

Because of my degree from Belhaven University...  I have been given opportunities, experiences, and support to help prepare me for many career options. My degree is not boxed into only one career option. Instead, I am excited by how many choices I will have after graduation.

One word to describe your experience at Belhaven: Motivating
