Fact: I imitate people really well!

I chose to come to Belhaven University because... I wanted to be in a Christian environment where God is spoken of in all things. I wanted to be somewhere where Christian principles are infused into every course. I also wanted to be trained with quality and excellence in the arts, and this is one of the only Christian colleges where all four arts programs are nationally accredited and can actually compete with the secular schools.

One relationship that has meant a lot to me while attending Belhaven University... There are several relationships, so it's hard to just choose one. First, there are Mr. and Mrs. Wynne, dance faculty here at Belhaven. Through my art administration internship, I got to work with Mr. Wynne, being his right hand woman. I really got to see his genius in his art form as well as his love for Jesus. He and his wife have been wonderful mentors in my life. Then there are Mr. and Mrs. Frost -Joe is the director of the art administration program and Shannon is one of the professors. They both love their students and serve them whole-heartedly, truly representing Jesus. Finally, Ms. Morton, ballet faculty, has been mentoring me at different times in my three years here as well as meeting with me weekly to hold me accountable to my walk with Christ. God has blessed me so much with these relationships.

Because of my degrees from Belhaven University... I will be able to continue to take the steps necessary to complete the calling and purpose that God has on my life. He has called me to aid in restoring the arts back to Him in multiple fashions: through performance, choreography, education, leadership, and business.

One word to describe my experience at Belhaven: Cultivation
