Belhaven University offers the following licensure programs covered under CFR 668.43 and 600.9 (c) (2).

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Bachelor of Science in: Elementary Education K-6
  • Music Education
  • Master of Arts in Teaching (alternative route)
• Master of Education School Leadership and Administration

Compliance With Federal Regulations

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) which is recognized in all 50 states and US territories, therefore, Belhaven University has determined that the Bachelor of Science in Nursing does not need to perform a verification of location of the students and is not required to provide a direct notification to the students concerning licensure.

The school of education has made the following determinations concerning licensure in the 50 states and US territories:

• All education licensure programs are licensed in the state of Mississippi for residents of the state.
• Belhaven University has not determined if our licensure is accepted in any other state or territory. Students must contact the state department of education in the state or territory in which they reside to determine if the Mississippi licensure is accepted in their state or territory.
