Belhaven Activities Team

BAT Logo

The Belhaven Activities Team exists to plan, promote and provide activities for Belhaven students that help foster community, increase student involvement and build an exciting atmosphere on campus!

BAT is a team of diverse, talented, active, involved and motivated students who work diligently to provide quality programming for the students, faculty and staff of Belhaven University. BAT events are brainstormed, planned, and implemented by the Base Team. The Squad makes the execution of events possible by stepping in and helping with the execution of BAT events.   If you want to find out more about being a part of BAT, contact the Activities Coordinator at or call 601-968-8904. What do you like most about Belhaven?
I love how peaceful the campus is, and how it is community oriented. At Belhaven, the faculty and staff go above and beyond to see you exceed and accomplish your goals. They are very sincere and willing to always help you, encourage you, and motivate you from all levels, physically, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally.

For you, why Activities?
I chose activities because it is a great opportunity to plan events and activities to bring the Belhaven campus together and promote community through an array of events. This aspect of the Belhaven Leadership Council gets a chance to connect all types of students that have different and similar backgrounds with events that takes place. Serving Belhaven University through activities gives me the chance to meet new people and develop life-long friendships as well as challenging me to become a better planner and leader.

What do you like most about Belhaven?
The people are what makes the experience at Belhaven worth it. The opportunities available on campus to meet others has led me to some of my strongest friendships. Belhaven can truly become your second home if you let it.

For you, why Activities?
The Activities team allows me to go outside my own comfort zone, therefore challenging me, but also letting me meet and interact with others so that I might spread the word of God. I am also able to serve the student body in a way that involves every type of person that attends Belhaven to hopefully better their experience here.
