Career and Calling
The mission of Belhaven University is to “prepare students academically and spiritually to serve Christ Jesus in their careers, in human relationships, and in the world of ideas.”
LifeQuest, the University’s Quality Enhancement Plan, enhances traditional student awareness of personal calling and improves student preparedness to reach individual career goals or potential career paths. Entering first-time freshmen and transfer students explore their personal strengths and discover how these strengths add meaningfulness to their lives and future careers. Specialized academic advising is available to students seeking additional faculty guidance as they explore the wide variety of majors Belhaven University provides to the student body.
The Center for Career and Calling works in conjunction with LifeQuest initiatives to assist students with “delving deeper” into career exploration, placement in student job programs, and providing workshops and career fairs for students to explore various academic disciplines and related job fields.
