Intramurals at Belhaven UniversityIntramurals provides students (traditional full-time), faculty and staff the opportunity to compete in various sporting activities within a relational-based community. Intramurals are bigger than ever at Belhaven, and knowing that competition is an intricate part of life, the intramural emphasis is on competition with character.

The goal for Intramurals is to foster a fun and entertaining atmosphere for both the premier athlete and recreational participant. The Intramural's Sports Program consists of men's, women's, and co-ed leagues in all Intramural sports. The Intramural program comprises four traditional sports: Volleyball, Dodgeball, Soccer, and Basketball. Volleyball and dodgeball are offered in the fall, while soccer and basketball take place in the spring. Non-traditional sports are also mixed-in throughout the year.

Intramural teams are independently organized. Any athlete appearing on a current Belhaven intercollegiate athletic roster will not be eligible to participate in an associated intramural sport (ex. a volleyball player may not participate as a player in volleyball intramurals). Anyone interested in participating but having difficulty finding a team or creating a complete team will be assisted in finding a team.
