Bachelor of Arts in Music Education: Vocal/Choral Emphasis

The emphasis in Vocal/Choral Music Education prepares students to teach choral music in public and private schools.  This music education degree is especially geared towards students who seek a Christian Worldview perspective in all of their classes.  Belhaven's music education program incorporates a series of vocal and choral methods courses, education courses required for certification, internship and student teaching experiences, and core music and performance based courses.

Opportunities for graduates in this emphasis include graduate school, as well as music specialist positions in public or private middle schools and high schools.
