November 8, 2010: ATTENTION: Changes have been made to the spring Academic Calendar. A number of the dates at the end of the semester have been adjusted, including those for final exams and graduation. Please visit the Academic Calendar for specifics on changes that may or may not affect your schedule.

Belhaven University offers traditional, online, adult, and graduate programs and needs to keep similar semester lengths for all programs for consistency and quality of service. Federal and state regulations also require the same consistency.

"We wanted to be proactive and move these dates as quickly as possible, which would allow faculty, staff, parents, students, and graduates to adjust their second semester plans," commented Donna Weeks, from the Office of the Registrar. "The administration considered several options to meet these goals, and the adjustment of the traditional program’s spring semester by one week seemed better than other options, such as an adjustment in late December."
