April 2, 2013 (Jackson) - Dr. Ken Elliott was recently named the Dean of Faculty for the Jackson Adult and Graduate Studies Campus.

Dr. Elliott is no stranger to Belhaven, both he and his children graduated from the University. He has taught history and worldview for both traditional and evening program students for many years with Belhaven. His understanding of the adult student and the Belhaven curriculum will serve him well in this new endeavor.

He brings his 27 years experience as a Wing Chaplain in the Air National Guard as well as 20 years experience as Assistant Professor and Library Director at Reformed Theological Seminary. Dr. Elliott received his Bachelor of Art in Classics from Belhaven University, his Masters of Arts in Information Science at the University of South Florida, his Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary and his Ph.D. with concentrations in European, 18th century British and American history from Mississippi State University.
