August 7, 2014 (Jackson) - Belhaven is proud to introduce the newBlazers Dance Team. The dance team will perform with theBelhaven Marching Band at football games and represent the University at regional collegiate dance competitions. They will also serve as ambassadors at functions on and off campus.
The 2014 Blazers Dance Team include: Danielle Stafford, Katie Buchholz, Ashley Rivera, Hannah Ruppert, Rachel Ellis, Eugenia Romero, Rachel Calhoun and Katherine Lee. The dance team will be under the leadership of Ben Burge, the new director of the Belhaven Marching Band. Auditions for this select group will be held in the spring semester.
