September 17, 2015 (Jackson, Miss) - The Community Dance Concert is an opportunity for both students and the community to experience the diversity of dance in Mississippi. This special performance will be held on Saturday, September 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Center for the Arts Concert Hall on Riverside Drive.
Members of Belhaven University dance faculty, students and alumni will join together with other local dance companies, schools and ministries to offer an inspiring evening of dance. Local performing groups featured in this concert include: Montage Theatre of Dance, Kinetic Etchings, Ballet Magnificat! Trainee Company, Mississippi School of the Arts, Carleigh Chitwood, EyeShine Creative, Praise Ministry, Leaps of Faith, Cross-Tied Ministries Youth Ballet, Power APAC Dance Ensemble, Intersect Dance Collective and Magnificat Youth Ballet Montage Theater of Dance from Hinds Community College.
General Admission is $10 and $5 for seniors and students. Admission is free for Belhaven faculty, staff and students and their immediate families. Doors open at 7 p.m.
