March 9, 2017 (Jackson, Miss. ) - Belhaven's finest classical musicians will take the stage and offer an unparalleled orchestra and strings concert on March 24, 7:30 p.m. in the Center for the Arts Concert Hall.
Faculty and students from Belhaven's String Chamber Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra will showcase beautiful string solos and chamber groups at this free concert.
Students and faculty will perform many formidable, top-level repertoires, including violin concert pieces from Wieniawski and Sarasate, chamber groups from Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev and symphony masterworks from Sibelius, Faure and Glinka.
