December 3, 2020 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven University's New Student Orientation and Welcome Week is scheduled for the week of January 8-16, 2021.
Each day will hold relevant programs that will inform and engage freshmen and transfer students as they prepare for their first year at Belhaven University. There will be multiple sessions for students through the week that will cover important topics such as academic, student life, and Belhaven basics. This is a student's time to interact with other incoming new students and hear from important areas to help them get connected and be a successful student.
The schedule may change as the University continues to prepare for a safe return for all students, faculty, and staff. The first day of Welcome Week on January 8 will begin at check-in from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Student Center. Academic advising and registration will be available from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.At 3:30 p.m., all new students will attend a mandatory new student orientation on the second floor of Dr. Billy Kim International Center.After orientation, a peer group meeting and new student dinner will conclude the first day of Welcome Week.Events will continue throughout the weekend and the following week.
