November 4, 2020 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven's Woodwind and Brass Ensembles will host a special outdoor concert at Belhaven University to honor veterans on Veterans Day.
The free performance on November 11, 4:30 p.m. will be outside, in front of the Belhaven Student Center and feature favorites like “God Bless America” and the “United States Service Songs.” Other selections will include music by Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, and many others.
Dr. Andrew Sauerwein, Belhaven's Chair of Music Department, said, “This will be a family-friendly event! Bring a blanket or lawn chair and join us. Invite your neighbor, co-worker, or friend and come out for some musical therapy, and friendly fellowship.”
