February 10, 2021 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven University's School of the Arts will host an on-campus Arts Discover Day on Friday, March 26, 2021. For students interested in the arts, this event will highlight Belhaven's premier arts programs. This day is an important step for potential students deciding on a career in the arts, and it helps them discover what type of degree they might want to pursue.
Professors will be ready to take questions, give advice, and provide information about careers in the arts. Students will take a tour of campus and visit with admission staff, arts faculty, and Belhaven University's President.
Panels with Belhaven art majors and department chairs will give participants more opportunities to learn about programs and the University. Students will also have a chance to meet with their personal admission counselor and talk about the enrollment process, including application and financial aid procedures.
This event is in-person and on campus. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only 15 students (with 2 parents) will be allowed to attend the Arts Discover Day for each department. Please note, if Belhaven pivots from an in-person format to a virtual format due to changes in CDC guidelines, the University will notify attendees through email.
Register online for Arts Discover Day. When potential students attend one of Belhaven's Discover Days, the University will add $1000 to their first-year scholarship package.
