Rowan lives in Jackson and is teaching art to ninth-graders at Jackson Academy. The show features six of Rowan’s pieces. The various alumni come from many different places in their current art making process. Some of the artists are able to work full-time while others, like Rowan, do their creating on the side. Rowan said, I hope it will be an encouraging exhibition for current students. They will get to see the work of alumni who have careers in visual art and are applying their knowledge and experience they garnered from Belhaven.
