Belhaven hosts InterVarsity SALT Conference
May 29, 2009—Belhaven is hosting the 2009 InterVarsity StoneWorks Arts Leaders Training (SALT) Conference from June 8-12, 2009. InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and StoneWorks partner to offer a unique 5-day training conference to equip artists to be truly free. Participants include undergraduate and graduate students, InterVarsity leaders and staff members, and professionals who work in the arts disciplines.
The conference aims to impart participants with a new understanding of their identity as an artist and Christian, practical tools to strengthen their InterVarsity ministry on campus and beyond, and the knowledge to create communities to reach out to the artistic community.
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is an evangelical campus mission serving more than 32,000 students and faculty on more than 550 college and university campuses nationwide. StoneWorks is a global arts partnership committed to Arts Education, Spiritual Formation, and Cultural Reformation.
