Composers Concert XXV to Highlight New Music from Students

Composers Concert Fall 2021November 9, 2021 (Jackson, Miss.) - The Belhaven University Composers Forum will present an interactive concert of newly minted compositions and unique improvisations. The Student Composers Concert XXV is November 16, 7:30 p.m. at the Center for the Arts Concert Hall.

This free concert will include incidental music from the theatre department’s upcoming production of Two Gentlemen of Verona.

Dr. Andrew Sauerwein, Belhaven’s Chair of the Music Department, said, “The Belhaven Composers Forum invites you to participate in a new approach to making music. Come early, enjoy some refreshing community, and participate in an adventurous and engaging performance by Belhaven’s talented student composers.”

Masks and social distancing are required. Events held in the Concert Hall will be livestreamed via the Belhaven University Music Department page on Facebook. Please contact for additional information.
