Majors Fair to Showcase Belhaven Fields of Study

October 11, 2019 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven will host its annual Majors Fair on Thursday, October 24, 9 - 12 p.m. in the Dr. Billy Kim International Center.

This interactive and insightful event gives students the opportunity to explore other majors, minors and electives before Spring pre-registration. Professors and students from every academic department will be in attendance to speak with freshmen and other students who might be considering a different degree and career path.

Claire Langley, director of Belhaven’s Center for Career and Calling, said, “Students come into college with a wide range of expectations – for themselves and, often times, from others as well. Sometimes, after a couple of months, they might reconsider their field of study and want to explore new possibilities opening up to them. This is a great event to see all of their options in one place. Of course, if they have no desire to change their major, there is still much to learn and explore.”
