Friday, August 20: Ultimate Game Zone
If you are a gamer or just want to watch people play their hearts out, come to the Student Center on Friday, August 20 from 6:00pm-10:00pm to the Ultimate Game Zone (brought to you by Legacy Entertainment). Four big screens and your choice of Nintendo Wii, Play Station’s 2 & 3 and XBOX 360 games, and hundreds of games to choose from. Game titles include Rock Band 1 & 2, FIFA, Boxing, Mario Cart, Super Mario, Wii Sports, Guitar Hero 1,2 & 3, World Tour, 5, Band Hero, Halo, and Madden 10! Play any of the games for FREE with your Belhaven ID. Be there!

Enjoy a great movie over the break! Come to the Movie Matinee showing of the Karate Kid (2010) on Sunday, September 5 at 2:30pm in the Student Center Theatre. Enjoy free nachos and soft drinks!

Tuesday, September 7 – Thursday, September 9: Hula Dance Sign Up
Have you ever wanted to learn how to Hula dance? Now's your chance! Sign up to learn how to hula dance from a Hawaiian native and guest dance teacher, Ms. Shelley Akiona! Sign up for dance sessions during lunch hours on Tuesday, September 7 through Thursday, September.9. Rehearsal schedule will be posted during sign up! Dance lessons are free to all Belhaven students. Some participants may be selected to perform at the annual Luau on Friday, September 17! You won't want to miss this!
Friday, September 17: Luau
Limbo, potato sack races, live DJ, and Hula Hoop contests are just some of the fun things going on at the Luau! Enjoy the pig roast, smoothies and many other hors d’ oeuvres’ from 8:00pm-10:00pm outdoors in Gillespie Commons (if inclement weather, event will be hosted in the first floor of the Student Center).
Saturday, October 2: Homecoming Party
Celebrate this year's Homecoming Court and annual festivities! The Homecoming Party will be held at The Auditorium in Fondren from 9:00pm-12:00pm. Casual dress. Directions will be available in all Residence Halls as well as the first floor of The Cube. Admission is FREE with a Belhaven ID. All guests must be signed in with a Belhaven student.

Friday, October 15: Outdoor Movie Night
Outdoor Movie Night is a Belhaven favorite event for many students! This fall's movie will be one you don't want to miss! The event begins at 8:00pm on the Football Practice Field (in the event of inclement weather, movie will be shown in Rugg Arena). Movie title TBA. Free drinks, popcorn, and more!

Tuesday, October 19 - Thursday, October 21: Battle of the Bands Sign-up
It's time to Rock! Battle of the Bands Sign Up begins, Tuesday, October 19, through Thursday, October 21 in the Dining Commons during lunch and dinner hours. BAT will be present to answer any questions. But be sure to sign up soon! Band slots are limited. All acts must include 3 or more members in each band with one or more musicians.
Friday, October 29: Battle of the Bands
It's back! Battle of the Bands will be held Friday, October 29 in the Student Center at 9:00pm! You won't want to miss the show! Prizes will be given to band champions and to best overall performer at the competition. Be there!
Thursday, November 4: BAT Round Table
We want to hear from YOU! If you receive an invitation to the BAT Round Table Discussion, please come and share your thoughts! The discussion will begin at 11:00am in Bitsy Irby 127.
Friday, November 5: Night at The Park
Come for some fun at The Park on Lakeland Drive! Attractions include putt-putt golf, laser tag and go-cart racing! Enjoy any two attractions for $5 with your Belhaven I.D. Meet in the Student Center at 7:00pm for directions and carpooling.
Wednesday, November 17: Operation Christmas Child
Make Christmas count by sending a box filled with gifts to a child in need! Operation Christmas Child gift box wrapping and collections will be held in the first floor of Student Center from 7:30pm- 9:00pm. Monday, December 6: Fire Escape
Escape the FIRE of finals and come to Fire Escape from 8:00pm -10:00pm in the Student Center! Come for some fun, enjoy some refreshments and relax before exam week! Sponsored by the Belhaven Activities Team and Belhaven College Intramurals.

Bowl the night away at Late Night Bowling on Friday, January 22! The cost is $5 with Belhaven ID. Directions will be available in the first floor of The Cube. Meet in the Student Center at 8:30pm!
Tuesday, February 2 -Thursday, February 4 : Open Mic Nite Sign Up
Your star studded career begins today! All you have to do is sign up for Open Mic Night for you moment in the spotlight! Sign up begins Tuesday, February 2 through Thursday, February 4 during lunch and dinner. All applicants will be reviewed by the BAT casting staff. Open Mic Nite will be on Friday, February 12 at 8:00pm. BAT will have a table set up in the Dining Commons to help with sign up and any questions you may have.
Sunday, February 7: Super Bowl Party
It’s here, Super Bowl XLIII!!! Come enjoy the big game on the big screen and lots of pregame fun in the Student Center and Gillespie Commons on Sunday, February 7 beginning at 5:00pm! There will be plenty of snacks and great door prizes! It’s a game you won’t want to miss!

Belhaven’s own student featured talent show is here! Come listen to your fellow Belhaven students perform at Open Mic Nite in the Student Center on Friday, February 12 at 8:00pm! Do you ever have that feeling that someone is out to get you...SOAKED? Get used to it, because Gotcha is back! The highly intense game of water and strategy is back on campus! Gotcha is open to all (traditional) students, staff, and faculty! Be sure to check out the rules during sign up. Sign up begins on Tuesday, March 2 through Thursday, March 4 during lunch and dinner in the Dining Commons. Entry fee is $1! Gotcha action begins on Tuesday, March 23rd
at 1:00pm! Remember; trust no one and stay dry!
Thursday, March 11- LIVE at Belhaven University
Come and enjoy a night filled with live music from upcoming artists, Daniel Ellsworth and the Great Lakes and Alva Leigh! Check their music out at www.danielellsworthmusic.com and www.alvaleigh.com! Both acts are sure to bring a great show to our campus! Concert will be outdoors in at the Pavilion or in the Student Center if inclement weather. $5 per ticket, $3 with a Belhaven ID. You won’t want to miss it! Proceeds from the event will go towards the Haiti Relief fund.

Don’t miss this big event and a Belhaven favorite! Outdoor Movie Night will feature a great movie shown outdoors on the big screen at the Football Practice Field at 8:00pm. Admission is FREE! Bring your own blanket and or chair (event will be held in Rugg Arena if inclement weather). Popcorn, candy, and drinks provided!

If you didn’t get a chance to show off your talent and would like to, sign up for the new and improved Battle of the Bands and Open Mic Nite event now called Open Mic Nite Part 2! Sign up during lunch and dinner in the dinning commons on Tuesday, April 6- Wednesday, April 7! All applicants must prepare a 2-5 min piece that will be performed during the competition. Applicants will be reviewed by the BAT casting staff and a lineup will be posted the following on Thursday, April 9. There will be a prize for the performance winner of the competition! Are YOU ready for this! Belhaven’s own talent night extravaganza held Friday, April 9 outdoors at the Pavilion near the Student Center at 9:00pm. Come find out who this year’s staff, faculty, and student judges panel will be! The Best Performance of the night will be awarded and you won’t want to miss it be there!
Friday, April 16: Spring Formal
Join us for a night full of dancing and great food in the gorgeous setting of spring at this year’s Spring Formal Dance! This year’s Spring Formal will be held at the Castlewoods Country Club in Brandon from 9:00pm-12:00am. Formal attire. Tickets are $13 in advance and $20 at the door. Tickets will be sold, Tuesday, April 13- Friday, April 16 in the Bailey Dining Commons during lunch and dinner. Must show a Belhaven ID. All guests must be signed in with a Belhaven student. Directions will be available in all Residence Halls and the first floor of The Cube.
Monday, April 27: Escape to the Lake
Do you need a sweet escape before finals? Come to Escape to the Lake for an outdoor dinner, some great relaxation, and quality recreation! Escape to the Lake will be held at the Football Practice Field near the Gillespie Lake from 4:45pm-6:30pm.Sponsored by the Office of Intramurals and the Belhaven Activities Team.
