The Belhaven Activities Team exists to plan, promote and provide activities for Belhaven students that help foster community, increase student involvement and build an exciting atmosphere on campus!
BAT is a team of diverse, talented, active, involved and motivated students who work diligently to provide quality programming for the students, faculty and staff of Belhaven University. Shelley Pensworth, Coordinator of Student Leadership & Activities
A Mississippi State University graduate, Shelley earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. While at Mississippi State, Shelley was a cheerleader, Roadrunner Student Recruiter, Orientation Leader, and served as the Cabinet Director of Athletic Affairs for the MSU Student Association. She also served as the Assistant Director of University Ministries at First Baptist Church in Starkville. She provides direct oversight to the Belhaven Activities Team as well as assists with various aspects in the Office of Student Leadership, including New Student’s Orientation, Chapel Administration, and leadership development.

Samantha Massoth, Activities Coordinator
Samantha is a Senior from Batesville, MS, majoring in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science, with a concentration in Pre-Med. Sam is a serving her second year on the Belhaven Leadership Council. She is also a member of the Belhaven Softball Team, SPEX, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Reformed University Fellowship, Sigma Zeta, and has served as a Peer Leader two years. Sam is a great asset to the Belhaven Activities Team both as a servant and a leader. Sam wants to provide students an outlet in after-school activities. She hopes to open the door for many students to get involved and create lifelong connections through service and fun!

Daniel Pigliavento, Activities Intern
My name is Daniel Pigliavento I am a senior at Belhaven University, I am from Albany NY. I am a dance major at Belhaven University. My goal for this school year is getting the students of all backgrounds together. I want to create events that would interest a variety of different people that way everyone will come. This I believe will bring the student body closer together and create life-long friendships.
