the excellence in each one of us, enabling us to become the artists and the
people that God is creating us to be. |

I’ve been with the Belhaven Dance Apprentice
Program for four years. Although it’s challenging at times, I’ve learned so
many things since I’ve been here. The teacher’s and other dance students
are truly loving, encouraging and caring people. I have been blessed beyond

I came to Belhaven as a scared 17 year old,
very unsure of what college had to offer, but knowing this was where God
wanted me to be. It is the people who are called to Belhaven that makes the
difference. Friends and mentors challenge me in my daily life and walk with
the Lord. Professors and staff have been the highest examples to me,
serving and giving so much both intellectually and spiritually. At
Belhaven, I am more than a number or a seat in the classroom. I have a
