Graphic designers use the elements and principals of art to solve visual problems for clients. At Belhaven the graphic design major is encouraged to take their journey one step further and use their gifts for the common good of the Kingdom. We offer classes that cultivate critical thinking about design issues, define industry best practices, and offer visual problem-solving methodologies. Classes lead to the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
Our classes emphasize a realistic approach to the fundamentals of visual communication. Students are encouraged to create their own projects and contribute to the body of research and art making in graphic design.
