Hobbies/Interests:  I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, playing and watching sports, and watching movies.

At Belhaven:  Greg Hawkins serves as the Dean of Students, overseeing all residence life activities, including housing, hall programs, discipline/crisis issues, international student care, and selecting and developing the residence life staff. He also oversees the career, dining, and counseling services of the campus. He plays a vital role by partnering with other faculty and staff in fostering an environment where students can grow not only academically but relationally, spiritually, and socially.

Rachel Loftus

Hobbies/Interests:  Traveling anywhere, drinking lots of good coffee, spending too much time on Netflix, trying new recipes, watching the sunset, and spending time with people.

At Belhaven:  Rachel Loftus is the Resident Director of Helen White Hall. She is blessed with the opportunity to serve and encourage her residents as she lives alongside them. In addition to taking care of students’ physical needs, Rachel strives to get to know them in order to meet their emotional and spiritual needs. Together with her team of five Resident Assistants, she strives to create a community that fosters growth in every area of the lives of the ladies at Belhaven and to set an example of seeking Christ.

Megan Rowan

Hobbies/Interests:  Reading books of all kinds, playing the piano, drinking copious amounts of coffee and tea, binge-watching Gilmore Girls, and going on walks with my husband.

At Belhaven:  Megan Rowan serves as the University Village Resident Director. She is blessed to have the opportunity to serve the residents of University Village and to live alongside them. She seeks to help students get involved on campus, achieve excellence in their studies, and build deeper relationships with others. Megan will lead her team of six RA's as they work together to support and encourage students through serving them, mentoring them, and building relationships with them. By living out the gospel on a daily basis, she hopes to show Christ to others on campus.

Roz Sabella

Hobbies/Interests:  Spending time with family and friends, watching movies, listening to music, traveling, and relaxing.

At Belhaven:  Roz serves as the Resident Director for the University Village. She is passionate about working with college students, and helping them during this transitional season of their lives. She hopes to be a living example of Christ’s love and grace, and to truly live out Belhaven’s motto to “serve, not to be served.” Roz, along with her staff of six Resident Assistants, serve the students of this community, and work to see them grow academically, spiritually, and relationally.

Jim Scott

Name:  Jim Scott

Title:  Resident Director of Robertson and Wells Halls

Hometown:  Pelham, AL

Degree:  B.S., Business Administration, Belhaven University

Hobbies/Interests:  Tennis, Basketball, Drums, Hanging out with friends and family, really any sport on Earth

At Belhaven:  Jim Scott is the Resident Director for the men's halls of Robertson and Wells, and he has been blessed with a great staff of twelve resident assistants. Jim manages the halls and leads his team of student leaders in an effort to create and maintain a Christ- centered living environment for the men of Belhaven. In addition to directing day to day residential affairs, he works alongside his team to serve the students living in Robertson and Wells. He strives to exemplify Christ in his own life, and, as he pours into the lives of individual students and hopes that he will inspire them to seek Jesus first in their own lives and in all that they do.

Kelly Weber

Name:  Kelly Berkompas

Title:  Resident Director of Caldwell Hall

Hometown:  Newark, DE

Degree:  B.F.A, Dance, Belhaven University

Hobbies/Interests:  Reading, organization/calendars, spending time with friends, making jewelry, going on walks, watching sports (especially Chicago teams), phone dates with long distance friends and family, and watching Parks and Rec on Netflix.

At Belhaven:  Kelly serves as the Resident Director of Caldwell Hall. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to pour into the lives of students at Belhaven. Kelly seeks to create an environment where students can grow holistically - spiritually, academically, emotionally, and socially. Kelly has team of six wonderful resident assistants, and is looking forward to working with them to meet both the practical and relational needs of Caldwell residents.
