Parent's Blog

Dear Belhaven Parents,

While your son or daughter is growing in independence, we realize it is still very important that you are involved in the life and decisions of your son or daughter.  Students need to feel connected to their parents regardless of how far or near they are from home. They also need to feel connected to Belhaven University, their classmates, and the faculty and staff. The more they feel connected and empowered at Belhaven, the more likely they are to persist through four years of college and graduate from Belhaven. So, whether or not your son or daughter verbally asks, they are looking to you for advice and support. We hope that through this blog for parents, we can help you be better prepared to offer that advice and support.

The Parent's Blog will be updated regularly during the academic year.  If you would like to subscribe to the Parent's blog, please enter your email address in the right column of the blog home page. Feel free to ask questions and interact with this blog as I will personally monitor it.Amanda, Chief Retention Officer
