Belhaven University Announces Full Slate of Summer Events and Activities

JACKSON, Miss. (May 28, 2026) - Belhaven University is welcoming students, families, and community members to campus this summer with a variety of academic programs, orientations, athletic camps, and student life activities scheduled throughout the season.

Belhaven University’s Summer 2026 calendar features summer classes, soccer camps, freshman and transfer orientations, and preparations for the upcoming fall semester. 

Highlights from Belhaven’s Summer 2026 schedule include:

• Summer I classes begin May 4.
• Summer II classes begin June 1.
• College ID Soccer Camp and Junior Elite Overnight Soccer Camp will be held May 31–June 3 and again June 21–24.
• Freshman Orientation is scheduled for June 11–12.
• Transfer Orientation will take place July 17.
• Welcome Week activities begin August 13 as students prepare for the start of the fall semester.
• Fall day and evening classes begin August 17. 

In addition to academic and student life programming, several campus services will remain available throughout the summer, including dining services, the mailroom, the Shoe Bird Café, and the Warren A. Hood Library with modified summer hours.
