Residence Hall Staff
Each residence hall is staffed by a professional Resident Director (RD) and a team of student
leaders who serve as Resident Assistants (RAs). They are committed to helping
residents adjust to life at Belhaven University and to grow academically,
spiritually, and socially.

RA will be living. Your RA will be one of the first people you meet when
you arrive at Belhaven, and they will help you as you get adjusted to life

102-107: Jessica Polson
Jessica is a junior from Ankeny, IA. She is a psychology major with a minor in dance and plans to work at TJ Maxx this summer while taking modern and ballet classes, reading great books, baking and cooking new creations, helping out around the house and taking time to grow more intimate in her relationship with her Savior. Her interests include dancing (including participation in DOXA), the Honor’s College program, reading great books, baking brownies, eating pizza, singing songs, playing the piano, laughing with people, crocheting, watching movies with friends, and going on adventures around campus.
108-114: Allison Kalehoff
Allison is a junior from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She is studying for her elementary education major and minors in piano as well. Her extracurricular activities and interests include Frisbee, cooking with friends, intramurals, Student Missions Fellowship, playing guitar, playing piano, playing games, and talking with friends.
201-210: Rachel Kurtz
Rachel is a junior from Sugar Land, TX. She is studying dance with a minor in business administration. This summer she plans to be at home working for the majority of the time and teaching dance. Her interests and hobbies include dancing, singing, scrapbooking, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying the beauty of God’s creation.
211-220: Kateri Tolo
Kateri is a senior from Woodbury, MN. She is studying art at Belhaven and enjoys singing, drawing, writing, reading, playing guitar, talking to God, ultimate Frisbee, cooking sewing, Polish pool, composing letters, talking, scavenging through thrift stores and free boxes, and ping pong.
301-310: Emily Schreck
Emily is a junior from Columbia, SC. She is an elementary education major with a dance minor. In her free time she enjoys dancing, watching movies, hanging out with family and friends, playing games, intramurals, and making chocolate and gift baskets. She also enjoys going to the beach, living in South Carolina, reading, drinking Capri Suns and Mountain Dew, walking through parks, and listening to music.
311-320: Sarah Linfield Clarke
Sarah Linfield is a sophomore studying humanities at Belhaven. When she’s not playing ultimate Frisbee in the bowl, she enjoys soccer, flag football, volleyball (basically, sports in general) babysitting, hanging out with friends, reading WWII books, spending time with family, and attending RUF and SMF weekly meetings.

101-112: Brittany Bayless
Brittany is a sophomore from Burleson, TX (such a great state). She is pursuing a degree in psychology and is also working on a minor in dance. Her summer plans include working as a nanny, travelling to California, Yellowstone National Park, and Sea World! Her interests include dance, photrography, kayaking, being outdoors, finding good deals, and spending time with friends.
113-124: Gentry Kerger
Gentry is a junior from Glendale, AZ. She currently is studying dance at Belhaven and plans to stay at home and work this summer, but might travel a bit to see some family. Her interests include SLEEPING, reading, watching sports, participating in Doxa dances, and Reformed University Fellowship. She likes to play intramurals, loves spending time with her family friends, and drinking coffee.
201-210: Anna Woods
Anna is a junior from Olive Branch, MS and is studying psychology. She plans to work at home this summer and continue in her favorite activities, which include running, listening to music, being with family and friends, reading, and watching movies.
212-221: Hope Berghuis
Hope is a sophomore from Hudsonville, MI. Seeking warmer climates, she made her way down to Belhaven to study dance. Her summer plans include a lot of dancing including performing in Europe for 3 weeks! She enjoys traveling, working with kids, investing in people’s lives, reading, making other people laugh, having adventures with friends, and growing closer to God through it all.
301-312: Bethany Rosentrater
Bethany is a fun-loving senior from Bailey, CO. She is a communications/political science major and plans to spend the summer at home working and hanging out with her family. Though she has an extensive list of interests, some of them include being on the Belhaven Activities Team, participating in intramurals, and spending time in the mountains. She also enjoys LOST, The Office, and all movies. Seriously, all of them.
313-324: Kimberly Weninger
Kim is a junior from Boca Raton, Florida, pursuing a degree in elementary education. She plans to spend her summer working at Twin Lakes summer camp near Jackson. Her interests include coaching gymnastics, playing intramural sports, going to the beach, hanging out with friends, reading, and watching movies.
401-412: Kourtney Clark
Kourtney is a junior from Roseville, CA. She is currently working on her elementary education degree and enjoys volleyball (and all other sports really), learning to sew, growing flowers in her windowsill, and just hanging out and talking.
413-424: Javante Ingram
Java is a sophomore from Carrollton, TX. She is a student of dance and plans to travel to Paris this summer, take a few classes, travel to Florida, work, and train for dance. Java enjoys Doxa, dancing, acting, and participating in pageants.

Kirstie is a senior art major from Tyler, TX. Her plans this summer include finding a job at home, possibly spending a week or two in Austin, and going to see some friends get married! Her interests include playing cello in the orchestra, Bible studies, and spending time with friends.
201-207: Jessica Akiona
Jessica is a junior from Modesta, CA. She is currently studying biology and plans to spend the summer working as a tutor finishing off with a trip to Hawaii for 3 weeks. Her activities and interests include working as the Student Coordinator of Intramurals at Belhaven, reading, sleeping, and participating on the Belhaven Activities Team.
208-214: Natalie Springel
Natalie is a junior art major with a minor in dance. She calls Spokane Valley, WA home and plans to work there for the beginning of the summer. She will then be travelling extensively around the US and to Haiti for a mission trip. Her interest and hobbies include backpacking, playing guitar, writing music, and hanging out with people.
301-308: Grace Wheeler
Grace is a sophomore from Ellisville, MS. She is currently majoring in international studies with a minor in political science. Her summer plans include working close to home and having plenty of fun. She enjoys lots of different activities including sports, family, music, and school.
309-315: Hannah Joy Robinson
Hannah is a senior from Hinsdale, NH. She is a dance major with a minor in psychology and plans to spend the summer working, hanging out with family and friends, and camping. Her interests include reading, hanging out, eating frozen custard at Bops, sleeping, babysitting, and doing crafts.

102-114: Luke Mittwede
Luke is a senior from Midlothian, VA. He is a double major in Biblical studies and international studies. He plans to work this summer as a counselor at Camp of the Rising Son. His interests include theology, enjoying the company of good friends, all sports, backgammon, and spades.
116-126: DeMarcus Suggs
DeMarcus is a senior from Concord, NC. He is a dance major and plans to travel to Russia this summer t in a 2 week mission trip there. Some of interests and activities include reading, intramural volleyball, bible studies, orchestra concerts and dance performances, and traveling.
202-214: Jacob Rowan
Jacob is a junior from Owings, MD. He is an art major and plans to work at his church as an intern this summer. He has many interests, but some of them include reading anything from classics to comic books, drawing, writing, hanging out with friends, and scouring the Belhaven lake looking for snakes.
215-226: Jonathan Kalehoff
Jonathan is a senior biology major from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He plans to work at home this summer spending time with his family and friends there. Some of his hobbies and activities include being the Community Outreach Coordinator at Belhaven, singing in the choir, conducting the choir at First Pres. Jackson, being involved in Student Missions Fellowship, card games, board games, Halo, Call of Duty, ultimate Frisbee, and volleyball.
302-314: Dave Harris
Dave is a junior from Ft. Worth, TX. He is a theatre major and enjoys acting, scriptwriting, sports, miscellaneous Texan activities (and there are quite a few, such as chopping down humongous trees and wrangling cattle), and enjoying life in general.
315-326: Stefan Sanchez
Stefan is a senior from Macon, GA. He is studying philosophy and, going along with the transient medium of his major, he hasn’t quite decided what he will do this summer but plans to spend a lot of time thinking about it…or not. His interests include running, sports, kettlebells, coffee, gaming, Psych, and whatever else…you know, whatever.

Darren is a senior from Janesville, WI. He is a business administration major and plans to spend the summer interning at Compassion International. His interests include airsoft, paintball, wind surfing, rock climbing, and soccer. He is also known as Cheddar (see hair).
114-126: Thomas Callen
Thomas is a sophomore from Laurel, MS. He hasn’t quite decided what he wants to major in but is enjoying college nonetheless. He plans to spend the summer working at Twin Lakes summer camp. His interests include climbing anything (seriously, anything), music, sports, hanging out with friends, and eating.

Peter is a junior art major from Brush Creek, TN. He plans to spend the summer working at Twin Lakes and spending time at home. Some of his interests and hobbies include writing, drawing, building random things, climbing random things, and every sport ever. He also enjoys filming, eating, and chilling with friends…and random things.

Michael is a sophomore from Phoenix, AZ. He is currently studying math and plans to spend this summer working at Twin Lakes and hanging out with his family. His interests include sports, climbing, hanging out, and eating.
302-312: Isaiah Tolo
Isaiah is a junior from St. Paul, MN. He is a biology major and plans to spend the summer in Jackson working at University of Mississippi Medical Center as an L3 researcher for the SURE program. His interests and hobbies include soccer, football, fishing, music, playing guitar, rock climbing, the family, nerdy stuff like Batman, and wrestling with Dan Browne.
315-326: Luke Lennon
Luke is a senior from Freeport, FL. He is an English major and plans to spend this summer working as a counselor at Ridge Haven Camp. His interests and activities include cross country, Student Missions Fellowship, intramurals of all kinds, sailing, music, FLORIDA, sports, quiditch, the beach, camping, hiking, the mountains, and Batman.
