Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, playing and watching sports, and watching movies.

At Belhaven: Greg Hawkins serves as the Dean of Students, overseeing all residence life activities, including housing, hall programs, discipline/crisis issues, international student care, and selecting and developing the residence life staff. He also oversees the career, dining, and counseling services of the campus. He plays a vital role by partnering with other faculty and staff in fostering an environment where students can grow not only academically but relationally, spiritually, and socially.

Daniel James Browne

Title: Resident Director of Robertson and Wells Halls

Hobbies/Interests: Movies, Racquetball, Reading, Studying Music

At Belhaven: Daniel Browne is the Resident Director for the men's halls of Robertson and Wells. He has a staff of twelve resident assistants and an Assistant Resident Director. He administers the services of a residence hall and seeks to equip his staff of Resident Assistants in their ministry to students, while also being available and accessible to individual residents as needs arise. Through daily tasks and communication with students and staff, he hopes to be preparing these young men to serve Christ Jesus in their careers, in human relationships, and in the world of ideas. The number one way he seeks to do that is through the Lordship of Christ in his own life, letting that be the example to those he is over.

Glenda Smith

Hobbies/Interests: Planning Events, Mentoring, Traveling, Working with Youth

At Belhaven: Glenda has the opportunity to not only assist in the administration of the department, but also communicate with students and really get to know many of them on a deep level. Her job allows her to listen to their concerns, tell them what God expects, and share life learned lessons.

Kristen Mack

Name: Kristen Mack

Title: Resident Director of Gillespie Hall

Hometown: Boca Raton, FL

Degree: B.S., Social Work, Southeastern University; M.S., Masters of Social Work, University of South Carolina

Hobbies/Interests: Painting and Crafting, Beach, Coffee, Shopping, I spend a lot of time at Church, if I could have made up a major in college I would have majored in Bible School (VBS) and minored in Sunday School!

At Belhaven: Kristen Mack is the Resident Director of Gillespie Hall. She is blessed to be working with eight beautiful RA’s who all have servant hearts. They not only support their residents but also seek to serve each other with words of encouragement and prayer. Kristen hopes to serve Belhaven and all of its students by living out the gospel in her daily life. Kristen is excited to help the students grow in all aspects of their lives whether it is academics, work, relationships, play, or their walk with the Lord.

Phillip Holmes

Hobbies/Interests: Basketball, Reading, Latin Dancing, Connoisseur, Music, Movies, Networking, Writing, and doing anything with family and close friends

At Belhaven: Phil is the Assistant Resident Director for the men’s halls of Robertson and Wells. He assists the RD, Daniel Browne, in serving the Residents Assistants and students living in the residence halls. He lives among the residents which enables him to build relationships and be involved with students on a daily basis. Through campus activities such as playing pickup sports, attending Belhaven events, or just hanging out on the hall, Phil is able to help the students acclimate and adjust to college.

Katelyn Joy Harbaugh

Hometown: Colorado Springs, CO

Hobbies/Interests: Photography, Arts and Crafts, Calligraphy, Reading, Movies, Sports, Singing, Guitar, and being with Friends and Family

At Belhaven: Katelyn serves as the Helen White Resident Director. She hopes to encourgage students to engage intentionally in their studies and activites, make new friends, pursue involvement on campus, and deepen their faith or learn more about a personal faith in the Lord. Her team of five students work together to be supportive to students while at Belhaven through relationships, words of encouragement, listening, and being available to them. She hopes that by the grace of God she can be used as a humble vessel to bring glory to His name.

Cindy Boyett

Title: Resident Director of Caldwell Hall

Hometown: Jackson, MS

Degree: B.S., History and Political Science, Mississippi State University

Hobbies/Interests: Being outside, cracking jokes and exploring with friends

At Belhaven: Cindy is the Resident Director of Caldwell Hall. This gives her the unique opportunity to live with the residents of Caldwell. By the grace of God and through working and living on campus, Cindy hopes to act as both a mentor and friend. She plans to guide her students academically, practically and spiritually.
